About me
Hi, I'm Yolotzin. Everyone calls me Yolo.
I'm a plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon. I was born in Coahuila, trained as a physician at the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila and crossed the continent to specialize in Rio de Janeiro, where I learned that plastic surgery is, above all, respect for each person's anatomy.
In Brazil I trained in general surgery, breast surgery (mastology), the plastic surgery specialty and a microsurgery fellowship. I then trained in chest masculinization through the WPATH program at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, because I believe gender-affirming surgery deserves the same rigor and the same care as any other.
Today I'm a partner at Clínica ICER-D, the plastic surgery and dermatology institute my family founded in 1996, with locations in Santa Fe, Mexico City, and in Saltillo. I'm board-certified by the Mexican Council of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (CMCPER), I care for trans and non-binary people as a clinical partner of CETRANS, and I teach LipoVaser HD, Renuvion and BodyTite to surgeons across Latin America.
How I work
- An honest consultation. In person in Mexico City or Saltillo, or by video call if you live elsewhere. I'll tell you clearly whether the procedure is right for you.
- A written plan. Surgical plan, preoperative tests, a fixed quote and dates.
- A certified hospital operating room and personal follow-up throughout your recovery.
- Proportion over excess. I aim for results that look natural and age well with you.
